David Bresnahan's Letter

"Dear President Bush, I'm Headed to Mexico".

If you need any help understanding, or want to help a friend understand, just how bizarre the current situation is with regard to how illegal entrants are treated in this country, this amusing "reverse it all" approach is a good start.  Mr. Bresnahan asks Mr. Bush to arrange ahead of time with the president of Mexico to provide the Bresnahans with percs and arrangements similar to what illegals receive here, since Mr. Bresnahan plans to enter Mexico without proper papers, or checking with any authorities, and figures that he should get at least as good a deal as folks entering here under the same circumstance.

For instance...

"I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here.

So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that I'm on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.

2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.

3. All government forms need to be printed in English..."

For the rest, go to "Dear President Bush, I'm Headed to Mexico".

America Can Be Better gratefully flies the American flag
